Due to a mess up with our booking at the Mecure, we were upgraded to the 'Rapid Creek Villas'. Absolutely first class. Set in a lush area, it was a bit of a walk to the pool and facilities but 2 great size bedrooms and a large lounge with cooking facilities and dining table and a large verandah down the whole building. My son was so impressed with the scale of the accommodation that he swears he will stay there next time. Stunning pools, with spa. Almost no one in them before 9am so it was like having them all to myself for a great morning swim and relax. The large one must be 70 metres long so great for laps and open 6am so lovely to watch the sun rise from. Also, a small, very shallow pool, connected to a kids play area, that was cooler than the main pool so that was refreshing to sit in after a sunbake in the heat of the day.

The swimming pools are amazing.. there is a play area with water fountains for the kids and plenty of space for children to playx. the staff is super friendly and helpful and the bar makes the best cocktails. The hotel is next door to the airport and super convenient and only 15 min drive to the Center of town and pretty much close enough to all attractions Darwin has to offer. We had the best holiday in the pool villa which is super romantic and the perfect for Honey moons. The private pool in our room felt like a luxurious treat. I recommend and can’t wait to be back !

The property was clean and the pool area was excellent, I had the pool villa which was great , it felt very private clean and tidy . We had pizza from room service menu and tried all the desserts which were fabulous, the pizza could have been in oven bit longer however still nice. The next day went and had brunch in the main restaurant, lovely setup and the sandwiches were so good. I live in Darwin was a quick staycation to celebrate birthday, will go back again in the future. .

Convenient to airport, delightful large clean, room, quiet. They’d warned us about roadworks outside but it didn’t affect us at all as it stopped at night. The whole environment in the gated grounds was beautiful, the restaurant was terrific (we had dinner and breakfast there), the staff were all over and beyond in helpfulness and friendliness - honestly, I’ll be staying at Mercure all round the world in future after this experience.

Our room was bigger than expected and the pools were amazing! The 24 hour desk was great as we had an early flight out.

The restaurant and pool were fabulous. Staff was very friendly. It was a lovely place to spend my birthday. Very relaxing environment. The bed was very soft. The room was clean and comfortable.

The access to the different site pools. Staff were friendly and prompt and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Food was good from Cosies which was ordered pool side. The beer was cold, lots of seating and generally a good vibe.

This is the 2nd year we've spent Christmas here and everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We upgraded to the pool villa for a very reasonable price, and we were so happy we did because it was amazing. The room was beautiful, and the bed was super cosy! The only very minor downside was mozzies when enjoying the pool, but the lovely staff delivered some mozzie spray to the room so we could enjoy! 10/10 hoping to make a Christmas tradition to stay here every year 🤞🏻 thanks guys and happy new year!

Property is ideally situated near the main airport, allowing guests to easily walk there if they wish. Additionally, the taxi rank is just a stone's throw away, eliminating the need to wait for a booked taxi.
